Wine brothers
Love created wine
Dionysus and Ariadne gave birth to 3 children associated with wine: Oenopion, Staphylus, and Oeneus. Oenopion taught mankind the art of winery which he learned from his father, Dionysos. Staphylus mixed wine with water for the first time. He became king of the Assyrians and husband of Methi. Oeneus gave his name to wine as he was the first recipient of a vine root from Dionysos himself.
