A majestic statue of Leonardo da Vinci in honor of his 20 years spent in Milan watch over from the center of the square. Moving on its 4 sides we find: in front of the statue the glorious theater Alla Scala; on his left the palace of the Commercial Bank, from the early 1900s; on the right Palazzo Beltrami, early 1900s, seat of the municipal accountancy.
