The ancient theatre
The Lion of Chaeronea
Built in the late 5th century B.C., the ancient theatre of Chaeronea stood in complete harmony with its environment, as it had been carved out of the natural rock of Petrachos. Theatrical performances and various other gatherings invited approximately 500 audience members to sit in 8-10 rows up until Roman times.
