The Kaitsa Baths, not far from the artificial lake of Smokovo, are located in a landscape bursting with vegetation,which have been operating since Ottoman period. They can be visited from 1 June to 15 October every year. The balneotherapy facilities include 23 individual baths, through which alkaline waters that spring from the limestone and peridotite rocks above flow, and which are recommended for chronic arthritis, lower back pain, spondyloarthritis, deforming arthritis, muscle aches, headaches, cervical syndrome, and gynaecological conditions.
