Temple of Apollo. Lianokokkala
A Doric peripteral temple of the 6th century B.C, at the Lianokokkala site, is devoted to the worship of Apollo. It stood proudly, hosting in its inner chamber the statue of warrior Apollo as a warrior. The temple was destroyed in a fire in the mid-2nd century A.D was destroyed and then was abandoned. Today, it is one of the best-preserved temples in Thessaly.
