The Flower Market of the city is a must attraction as it is the only floating flower market in Europe! It has been housed in the same location since 1862. You will find it on the Singel Canal, between the Muntplein and the Koningsplein, standing on houseboats. In fact, in the past, the local flower vendors were supplied by the boats. In the Flower Market, which is open all days of the year, you can find a large variety of flowers and of course the celebrated dutch tulips, the favorite flower of the locals! There is a profusion of available tulips in every colour that you wish. You can also buy bulbs to take them back home as a forget-me-not memory from Amsterdam!
