Proceed to the west side of the temple (the narrow one). There are metal steps that lead to a path, which descends the hill to the sea. Follow it. At various points, there are smaller paths that branch north and south. You can explore them if you want to enjoy new views. There are no antiquities on them. For this stop of the tour, follow the main path until you come across a big clearing at the foot of the ancient road that crossed the settlement of Sounion. Do not take the ancient road yet.
