The staircase leads up to a gate. Take a brief stop before entering and take in the gate with the catapult, the crenelated top of the building to your left, and another staircase which ends in an arch. Upon entering the gate, follow the footpath you see marked out. Walk into a vaulted chamber of some 15m. On either side of the walls, you see bases of statues and offerings that were amassed from the excavations in the acropolis. Find a spot without stopping the traffic and get ready for some medieval tales.
