To enter the site of the Royal tombs, take to the left tunnel which is the entrance heading underground to the inside of the mound. This is where you validate your ticket by scanning it on the devices to the left and right. Caution: inside the tumulus, it is considerably darker and it may feel disorientating at first. It may take a few minutes for your vision to re-adjust, but you are safe as the floor is flat. Head across to the main door to view a model of the Great Tumulus.
