Otto (Otto Friedrich Ludwig von Wittelsbach) was son of the King of Bavaria, Ludwig I, of the House of Wittelsbacher and Queen Therese. He was King of Greece from 1833 until 1862, when he was exiled. He married Amalia in 1835, just after he became an adult. He died from streptococcus in Bamberg.
