The most common point of entry into the necropolis is by the Marriott Mena House hotel. With the entrance to the hotel to your right, the road slopes upwards, and towards the right you will find the ticket booths under a canopy. This is also where the restrooms of the site are located. There are separate ticket booths for groups and solo travellers. Once you have your ticket, and following a second backpack check, you reach a paved courtyard that opens up to the archaeological site. The site is wheelchair accessible and a ramp can be found on the right-hand side of the courtyard. Four steps lead up to the level of the pyramids. At the top of the steps, a paved area leads to an asphalt road. Here, you can find a suitable spot to listen to the stories of the first stop.
