There is a restored pathway next to (south of) St. Panteleimonas that diverts you from your route, leading to one of the most interesting buildings on the island: the infirmary of the leper colony. At the moment, visiting the inside of the building is not permitted, but you can take a short walk around it and also enjoy the panorama it offers.
