Once you exit the bastion of Miltiades, you have two options. You can either turn right and go down the hill towards the bastion of Leonidas (there is no path, so you will walk on the grass, which may or may not be cut, but at least you will truly appreciate the height of the Miltiades bastion walls). Alternatively, you can follow the cobblestone path towards the bastion of Saint Andrew. Before you reach Saint Andrew, you will see another trail on your right and a sign pointing towards Leonidas. The bastion of Leonidas is an outlier and visited infrequently, but it is where you can best appreciate life in a Venetian fort.
