Directions
The Entrance Pavilion
You can reach the Alhambra Palace on foot or by public transportation. Buses C30 and C32 take you to the palace. Once you get off the bus, you can see the main entrance a few meters. If you go on foot, start in Plaza Nueva in Granada. Standing next to the fountain in the middle of the square and facing the church of Santa Ana, turn right and head towards “Cuesta de Gomérez” street, which goes uphill. After about 5 minutes going up, you will find the Renaissance Gate of the Pomegranates. Once you pass through the gate, you will see three tree-lined paths: take the one on your right or the middle one. Go ahead and after about 10 minutes you will come across the Entrance Pavilion, the main ticket office and visitor entrance of the Alhambra Palace, where you can pay the additional fee or pick up your ticket and enter the complex.
