Panagia ton Xenon is a single-naved basilica built in the 18th century. An earthquake in 1869 caused extensive damages and the local community organized a fundraiser to raise the money for its restoration. The Greek consulate supported the effort, commemorated with a marble plaque above the south entrance. The wood carved altar is gilded and the icons were painted by the local religious icon painter Athanasios Karatzoulas. The Dormition of the Mother of God icon was painted by Spyros Ventouras in 1803.
