All the king’s men
The Greek Light Infantry Corps was a unit of the British army during the Napoleonic Wars. It consisted of Greek and Albanian enlisted men and Greek and British officers. It served mainly in the Ionian islands and Italy. The regimental uniform consisted of clothing and accoutrements in the “Albanian fashion.” Enlisted men wore red jackets with yellow cuffs, facings, and trim; for the officers, these were gold and white, over a white shirt, fustanella, breeches and stockings. Headwear was usually a red cap (like the fario of the Evzones). Footwear resembled the tsarouchia of the Evzones, only there were no pompoms.
