Thermopylae (the monument)
In the straits between the foothills of mount Kallidromos and the Gulf of Maliakos, the faithful once sought healing in the hot springs devoted to the mythical hero Hercules. That was the place destined to witness the historical battle of 480 B.C., a symbol to the Greeks and all those who fight for the ideals of their country.
