The museum has the shape of a spearhead facing north. The building was inaugurated in 2010 and accommodates three auditoriums with three-dimension virtual reality. Every visitor, aided by audiovisual equipment and especially formatted interactive tables, is able to view all the information about the historical battle of Thermopylae in an unprecedented and easily understood manner.
