The Archeological Museum of Karystos
The Archaeological Museum of Karystos was a legacy of the benefactor Nikolaos Giokalas and was built in 1959 in Maximilian square in Karystos.Sculptures of the Classical, Hellenistic and Roman years, architectural parts, tombstones, inscriptions, clay figurines, findings from the Dragonhouses of Oche and Styra, as well as other findings from long term systematic study and investigation, invite every visitor to Karystos to learn about their history.
