Interior features
Synagogue of Mountain Jews
The main prayer hall is in the left wing and features high ceilings and windows, soft curtains, a nearly three-metre in diameter Magen David stucco ceiling, a massive chandelier with dozens of lamps, rows of comfortable congregation chairs, and a dark-wood Aron Kodesh and Bimah with carved columns. There are also bookshelves packed with volumes of the holy Torah, Tanil, Tehillim, and other books containing the religious and spiritual values of the Jews. The right wing of the new synagogue houses administrative and technical rooms: a refectory and kitchen on the ground floor, a conference hall, chairman's office, and community reception room on the second level, and a library on the third.
