Dikili Tash is a prehistoric settlement of the middle Neolithic and early Bronze Age (6.000-3.000 BCE). During excavations at the site, the archaeologists discovered 2460 burned grape seeds and 300 grape skins that were 6.500 years old. They were probably used for the production of wine and comprise the oldest pressed grapes that have come to light until today.
