Historical monument
Alti Gumbaz - Six Dome Synagogue
The synagogue was built in 1888 by local architect Hillel ben Chaim. In the Soviet period, like all other synagogues in Red Village, the Six Dome Synagogue was repurposed and first used as a warehouse and then as a sewing workshop. Following the fall of the USSR, the building restoration work began in 1995 and the building reopened in 2001 as a functioning synagogue.
