Gilaki Synagogue
At the beginning of the 20th century, there were 44 synagogues of the Mountain Jews in Azerbaijan and Dagestan. The largest number of synagogues - 11 - was built in the Jewish community of Guba. This is the synagogue in which today the residents of Red Village pray and which has never been closed. It was built by natives of the Persian province of Gilan.
