Beauty and mystery
Maternity hospital (old)
One of the most beautiful and mysterious buildings in Red Village is located in the central street. Despite the peculiarity of its color, the building organically blends into the architectural and historical appearance of the village. The building was built in the second half of the 19th century and was granted the status of a historical monument of local importance in 2001. The frescoes on the facade depicting children, as well as the modest plaque above the entrance, tells us that this historical monument was the local maternity hospital. One legend has it that the building belonged to a rich Jewish merchant who never had children of his own, decorated the building with frescoes of happy children's faces.
