Photo atelier of Abram Zylberberg - Rynek 4
Atelier Abrama Zylberberga - Rynek 4
Over 2 700 glass plate negatives of photographs taken between 1914 and 1939 were found in the attic of the house at 4 Market Square during renovation works carried out in 2010. Most of these photographs are portraits, faces of residents of Lublin and nearby localities. They were most probably taken by Abraham Zylberberg (1883-1942?), a carpenter working as a photographer on the side, a tenant of the house in which the photographs were found. Some of the portraits can be seen displayed in the windows of Old Town houses.
