Nuchym Szyc (1921-1990), a poet and one of the most active members of the Lublin Jewish community, had his umbrella workshop in the yard of the house across the street, at number 15 (5 before WWII). Today, craft and art workshops still function in the yard, imparting a special atmosphere to the place.
