As you walk away from Michelangelo’s slaves, walk to the gallery’s left-hand side right. Past the entrance, you will come across some stairs leading to Room N°164 downstairs. Keep walking straight towards the Donatello Gallery (Room N°160), dedicated to Italian Renaissance art. When you reach the exit, take the stairs and turn immediately to the right. There are a few more steps to climb. At the top, walk for a few metres and turn left to reach the Department of Islamic Art (Room N° 185). Look for three small ornamental columns in the centre of the room. The Pyxis stands in a showcase just to their right.
