Bears eating chocolate
Candy and Chocolate Shop "Viktorija"
Walk closer to the Cathedral. Look around. Do you see bears eating chocolate? This candy and chocolate shop was the tip of the iceberg of the great empire of sweets. Everything “sweet” began here during the last decade of the 19th century when Tobias (1871 (?) – 1938), a son of one of the richest merchants in Vilnius Israel Bunimovich, opened a candy and chocolate factory. Only a few years later in 1897 the history of the famous chocolate and candy factory “Viktorija” began, when Tobias’ father joined the venture.
