Lambros Eftaxias
Lambros Eftaxias got involved in politics and he was elected as a Member of the Parliament a lot of times, his first one being in 1932. He served as Minister with several responsibilities, always as a member of the Conservative Party. He abandoned politics for good in 1973. He had been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Benaki Museum for 20 years and served as Chairman of the museum for 2 decades at least. He also served as Vice-Chairman of the Conservatory of Athens during the period the new building was being constructed (1971).
