Exit the raised exhibition area where the Temple of Dendur is located. Go down the short flight of stairs on the wall opposite the windows and turn right. As you exit the gallery space, on your right, you will see a sculpture of a Sphinx, a half-lion, half-human creature. There’s an enormous version of such a Sphinx on the Giza Plateau near the Great Pyramids in Giza. Exit the Egyptian Wing and immediately turn left. Proceed straight ahead into the Charles Englehard Court, where you’ll see the Diana Statue on display in the middle of the court.
