Casa Parlante (Italian for “house that speaks”) is an innovative museum that opened in 2014. It is housed in a neoclassical mansion on a centrally located street near Spianada. The museum founders went to incredible lengths to faithfully recreate life in 19th-century Corfu using animated robotic figures wearing accurate period costumes and jewelry and set among authentic pieces of furniture and original works of art.
