Pressing needs
Social Shelter of the Red Cross
The social hostel has been operating since September 2007 and hosts mainly families (nuclear or one- parent). It is highly filled (75 people, of which about half are minors). The hostel provides shelter mainly to infants (children that have been born there) and to persons up to 66 years of age. The average occupancy is about 1 year. The hostel provides nutrition, psychological support, nursing care, safety and help with professional rehabilitation. Admission to the hostel requires basic medical examinations and a clearing note for the last financial year. The needs are so high that when a seat is emptied, the next day it is usually covered.
