Quiet flows the Meyne
The Meyne River
Some rivers are massive and carve continents. Some are conveniently located to serve as avenues of commerce or exploration. Others are small but packed with mythical associations. And then there is the Meyne River, whose only claim to fame seems to be as home to ducks and a point of interest in this tour. The river is just short of fifteen kilometres (nine miles) long, and after passing through Orange, it flows into the Rhône, a major river in southern France.
