The statue of Raimbaud II, Count of Orange, was created by the French sculptor (and tax collector) David Henry-Joseph Ducommun du Locle (1804-1884). The statue depicts Raimbaud dressed in heavy chainmail under a long coat. We can see the crown reminding everyone of his princely status on his head. In 1846, the statue stood on Place Clémenceau and was relocated to the top of Saint Eutrope Hill in 1960 before finally coming to rest here.
