Final victory
Piazza Vittorio Veneto
Piazza Vittorio Veneto is among the largest squares in Europe, with a maximum capacity of 100,000 people. Although designed in the 17th century, the piazza only developed in the 19th. The name commemorates the decisive Italian victory at the Battle of Vittorio Veneto (fall of 1918), which guaranteed the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Today, it is the heart of Turin nightlife and features many fashionable bars.
