You will also find kumquat liqueur in the bakery. Kumquat is a fruit originating from China (like a small orange but bitter-sweet in taste). The English brought it to Corfu and today it is a Protected Designation of Origin product of Corfu from which liqueurs, spoon sweets and jams are made.
