Remaining in the Mouragia district, you discover Corfu’s Museum of post-Byzantine icons and artefacts. The museum is found in the church of Panagia Antivouniotissa, at the top of the steps that stretch out in front of you. It is one of the oldest churches in Corfu, built around the end of the 15th century. The inside is particularly impressive, with tall pews and gilded woodcarvings.
