House of the Amphitheatre
When you leave the Theatre/Amphitheatre complex, turn right up north to Paseo de Don José Álvarez de Buruaga. Then turn right on Plaza Margarita Xirgu and proceed until you reach the entrance of the Amphitheatre House. Enter and follow the pedestrian walkway to your left. The first mosaic house you will encounter on your left-hand side is known as the Water Tower. Unfortunately, it's not currently in great condition due to damage from a stream from the Saint Lazaro Aqueduct. Continue down the ramp, and when the path splits in two, take the left corridor. At the end of this path, turn right, and you'll find the covered archaeological site of Casa del Anfiteatro, a vast domestic complex. In order to see the different parts of the house, we recommend that you walk along the whole footbridge (some parts have a transparent floor to better observe the mosaics) and look for the details described in the stories.
