Was the Gasworks’ location random?
The Condensers
Of course not! The Gasworks was not built in the Gazi area by chance. The location was selected based on the ground level natural water supplies and more particularly due to the Iridanos River that was flowing nearby. The water was an essential element for the coal gas production line, especially in the stages of cooling and purification, thus making the area ideal for that purpose.
