From where you stand in the courtyard facing the Christiansborg tower, with the royal stables behind you, the entrance to the ruins is to the left of the tower. After validating your ticket at the booth, head to your right and proceed down the stairs leading to the ruins. Your first stop is at the bottom of the stairs: a visualisation of Havn and the fortress that once occupied this site.
