Observing Enoplosus armatus or Old wifes’ shape, we could say that it looks like the moon. It has been given different names like “Moonlight” or “Zebra fish”. Its body is flattened in the abdomen and has a long dorsal fin which is white at the tip. The spike on its fins is poisonous. It is also called "Old wife". It is said that it makes a sound by gnashing its teeth when caught on a fisherman's hook. It can reach up to 30 cm. There are some records that these fish create spots to clean the rest of the fish from pests.
