Prospect Point is the best observation spot to enjoy a panoramic view of Niagara Falls from the American side; the American Falls is almost at your feet, while the bowl-shaped Horseshoe Falls is visible in the distance. The American Falls is the second largest of the Niagara's three waterfalls and is entirely within the United States (thus the name). The crest is approximately 830 feet (250 meters) wide, and the depth of the water going over the brink is almost two feet (61 centimeters).
