With the Antwerp Altarpiece on your left, take a few steps straight ahead, and pass through the opening; with a whole new room in front of you, you will see a three-metre-high panel immediately to your right, which reads ‘Gothic and Renaissance: start of the route’. At the bottom of the panel, there is a display case: inside it, the ‘Cofano di Orafo Limosino’. Listen to the stories while admiring this precious object.
