The exhibition route on the first floor of Palazzo Madama is shaped like a horseshoe. For this reason, to visit the whole floor you need to walk back through the four rooms you have just been through. When you reach the first room (the one housing ‘Il Giudizio di Salomone’, our stop number nine), go through the door on your right: you are now in the ‘Sala delle Feste’, a huge reception hall that is now used as a conference room (in fact, you can see about a hundred chairs arranged in several rows). The ceiling of this huge room is entirely covered by only one fresco. Find a good spot in the room and look up while listening to the stories.
