Founded by Professor Rafia Ghubash and housed in a charming 1950s residence, the museum offers a rich tapestry of historical artefacts, photographs, and documents that reveal the dynamic roles women have played in Emirati life. According to Ghubash, women “are involved in every aspect of life,” and hence the museum aims to retell their story, breaking down long-existing stereotypes.
