Now we’ll continue around the Roman Agora, following a circular route along its outer fence. Head uphill along the road until you reach a small intersection. Turn left here, keeping the fence—and the Agora—on your left as you walk. Stay on this path, and when you reach the corner of the fence, turn left again. The road now begins to slope gently downhill. Just before you reach the next corner, pause here. This is the perfect spot to admire the Tower of the Winds. After listening to the first three stories, simply turn left at the corner to continue the circular route around the Agora. Just after you pass the iron side gate on your left, stop again. Immediately to the right of the gate, you’ll see the remains of the Roman public toilets, and just below them, the Ottoman-era mosque—a striking reminder of Athens' long and layered history. This is where you’ll hear the next set of stories.
