Poseidon makes an appearance
A city upon a hill
Behind the auditorium the city planners used the level ground to erect another stoa. We Greeks love this all-purpose building (there are three here in Cassope). It is simple and adaptable, perfect for our climate whether we use it to find shelter from the blistering sun or from the driving rain. This one faces east but the doors are perfectly aligned with those of the small theater so it is obvious that it was used by the same people. I wish I had seen this place during its glory. I was admiring it when I felt Poseidon shaking the earth. A few stones from the theater came loose and I think it is only a matter of time before part of this building collapses down the side of the hill.
