The son of Aeschylus
The great theater
Since it is just the three of us, preparations are easy. We each found a nice secluded spot near the theater and memorized our lines. We also practiced our movements to make sure than Xenon understood how Theodoros and I act on stage. When we get to Dodona, we will spend a few days preparing with the members of the chorus. I wish my son was still alive. He was such a skilled writer and I have am sure he would be able to write great plays and teach me how to perform them. After all, what more did Euphorion, Aeschylus’ son, know when he revived his father’s plays and won first prize against both Sophocles and Euripides two years before the great statesman Pericles died? If my son was still with us he would have become great (with my help of course) but alas...
