The art of politics
There is only one theater in the land of the Thesprotians; the theater of Gitana. It was built next to the prytaneion (and is connected to it with a monumental stone path) to reinforce its double use, both for the performance of plays and as a gathering place for political discussions. I guess it could accommodate the entire male population of Gitana and the surrounding country (5000 spectators). The theater rests on the natural slope of a hill and the auditorium (28 rows of seats) faces west, towards the river. They used stone everywhere, which is impressive, and they made sure people knew where to sit by carving their names on the stone seats.
