Doctor and traveler Kiros Kokkas (b.1961) dealt with photography, capturing more than two decades his impressions travelling around the world. “Untitled” (2004) comes from the collection of photographs of Kokkas and is a composition of three photos in horizontal apposition which are joint through the common line of the horizon. Without distinctive features, the human figures are outlined in the background of the sky, giving the impression of a photographic negative. Thus, the three photos are combined into a single balanced composition of painting quality which creates a sense of calmness to the viewer.
